Hi Volunteers!!

We fought a good fight in district 4!! Like many of you, I was very disappointed with the results. I really thought it was going to be a close race. We did make the democrat party nervous, which was fun :)

Bryan and I spent a week in Mexico, as our delayed honeymoon, and it was very nice to get away and reset. Many people have asked if I will run again? I don't know. I am going to be praying for direction from God and those with more experience than me in this area of politics. I have so appreciated having you all as a family working together for a common cause, and we need to continue using that energy to change the political atmosphere of our district and state. There are many ways to do this, and we need to work together to be strategic.

For now, let's celebrate Christ's birth with our fellow patriots at this event that I want to share with you all below! I hope to see most of you there, and thank you, thank you, thank you for supporting me for the past year and a half. I'm sorry the ending was not what we hoped for, but we made a big impact in the blue areas and made it very clear we are not sitting back without resistance. In good news.... we have the majority in the US House, so maybe the Republicans in the federal government will slow the spending!

Thank you all again, and I hope you can join all of us at the Homestead on December 10th!

The "Patriot's Christmas Party" is being hosted by the Durham County GOP, the Triangle Republican Women and CORE Durham and will be held on Saturday night, December 10, 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm in the Festival House at Homestead Steakhouse.  We will have a cash bar with beer, wine and stronger spirits and there will be musical entertainment throughout the evening.  Our menu will be a four meat buffet with grilled chicken, pork tenderloin, beef tips on rice and lasagna.  The hot vegetables will be string beans, green butter beans with corn and mashed potatoes.  Salads will be their seven layer salad and a marinated vegetable salad in Italian dressing.  Deserts will be peach cobbler and banana pudding.  The buffet will also include rolls, tea and water.

Tickets for the party are $35 and can be purchased on the Durham Co GOP website by "carefully" following these steps:
1.  Click the link below and it should carry you to the Durham GOP website page for the party.  If it does not, Google the Durham Co GOP website.  Scroll down to the bottom of the home page, locate EVENTS and click on "Patriot's Christmas Party".  That should carry you to the page for the party.
2.  Once on the party page, scroll down till you see in big red letters "RESERVE YOUR TICKETS", click on that and a new page should appear where you can select the number of tickets you want to purchase.
3.  Select the number of tickets you want, fill in "ALL" of the personal information requested, enter your credit card information and click PAY ONCE.  We suggest using a credit card versus paying thru PayPal.
4.  You should see a new page confirming your purchase (it may say donation) and shortly after you should receive an email transaction receipt.  We suggest you print the receipt and bring it with you to the party, just in case.

Tickets must be purchased by Thursday, December 01.  Tickets will not be available at the door.  The Festival House is a large facility and we would love to have a big crowd to help us celebrate the Christmas season.   Thank you All.
