This week, he signed on to a letter to the Supreme Court asking them to "revisit" Roe v. Wade. Shame on him.

As an emergency physician, I've been there when women had to make the heartbreaking decision to end a pregnancy. That choice must remain between a woman and her doctor. There is no place for politicians in that decision.

Too many politicians like David Schweikert think they can dictate women's personal medical decisions. At a moment when the courts are stacked with anti-choice judges, we need strong leaders in Congress who aren't afraid to fight to ensure that women have autonomy over their own bodies.
