Governor Bill Weld's presidential campaign is seeking applicants for District of Columbia delegates and alternate delegates to the 2020 Republican National Convention.

In order to gain ballot access in the DC primary, the campaign must field a full slate of 32 delegates and alternates. The DC primary provides a rare opportunity for a Republican vote in the District to have national impact - if multiple candidates are on the ballot. To date, Governor Weld has qualified for the ballot in 15 states and counting, and we hope to add DC to the list soon. Serving as a Weld delegate is an opportunity to give local Republican voters a real choice in the 2020 election.

If you would like to be a Weld delegate, please fill out the attached DCGOP Standard Form and send it to directly to the DC Republican Committee at [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> at your earliest convenience, CCing Drew Hazouri, Delegate Coordinator, at [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]>. Please reach out to Drew at any time with questions. Delegates must be registered Republicans in the District as of June 2, 2018, and must be willing to attend the Republican National Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina from August 24-27, 2020.

Please share this with your friends who are registered Republicans in the District!

The campaign is also seeking Maryland delegates - please email Drew if you are in Maryland and would like to learn more.

Thank you!
