Yesterday, NBC News FINALLY projected Katie Porter as the winner of her very close re-election race. 

We saw the same for our frontline candidates around the country — Republican gerrymandering meant many of our candidates in new districts had tougher, closer re-election battles this time around. And the scary part: Those districts won’t be changed again until 2030.
