Friends,

Let me start by saying this: We have a lot to celebrate after the midterm elections.

November 8 was a fantastic night for women governors across the country. My dear friend Kathy Hochul was elected the first woman governor of New York State! Governors Gretchen Whitmer in Michigan, Michelle Lujan Grisham in New Mexico, Janet Mills in Maine and Laura Kelly in Kansas have all been re-elected. And we made history by sending Democrats Maura Healey in Massachusetts, Katie Hobbs in Arizona and Tina Kotek in Oregon to the governors' mansions in their states.

Democrats retained our Senate majority! John Fetterman flipped Pennsylvania’s Senate seat blue, and we re-elected Senators Maggie Hassan, Catherine Cortez Masto, and Mark Kelly. And while Cheri Beasley in North Carolina, Val Demings in Florida, Mandela Barnes in Wisconsin and Tim Ryan in Ohio fell short, they each ran history-making campaigns—and have bright futures ahead of them.

With your support, Off the Sidelines candidates like Rep. Sharice Davids in Kansas, Rep. Elissa Slotkin in Michigan and Rep. Lauren Underwood in Illinois won seriously tough re-election fights. The “red tsunami” that MAGA Republicans predicted is nowhere to be found.

Still—we have a lot of work left to do.

My friend, Senator Raphael Warnock, is headed to a runoff election against Donald Trump's handpicked candidate, Herschel Walker. Rev. Warnock needs a major surge in grassroots support to hold this critical seat and expand our 50-50 Senate majority.

I promised Rev. Warnock that this team could raise $30,000 by midnight tonight to send critical resources to Georgia. Please—will you chip in as much as you can afford right now? [[link removed]]

Thank you for stepping up now—we’re down to the wire and your support could make-or-break this critical race.

More soon,

Kirsten
