We’ve had a busy month here at One Richmond! Mayor Levar Stoney has been hard at work to make our city a better, safer place -- despite the mud-slinging and attacks from special interest groups like the NRA.
The Richmond City Council recently voted to take steps toward banning guns in all city buildings and parks, and the NRA responded with some vicious insults. But we’re ready to do whatever it takes to continue showing the rest of Virginia that here in Richmond, we care about the wellbeing of our people and we’re ready to be a leader in common-sense gun reform.
But we’re quickly approaching our July fundraising deadline -- and we need to hit it if we’re going to show the NRA that we’re not backing down. Will you pitch in $5 or more to One Richmond right now?
The NRA wants to intimidate Mayor Stoney, but we’re not afraid. They’ll be looking at our fundraising numbers, and we need to show them that the people of Richmond are behind Mayor Stoney 100%.
