It's that time of year — the 16th Annual Ward 6 Brickie Awards are just around the corner! The last two years were online affairs, but after a two-year hiatus, we're bringing the event back in-person! Come join us at The Hill Center on Wednesday, December 7 from 6-8pm. Each year, the Brickies brings the Ward 6 community together to talk, laugh, and celebrate our neighbors. We'll have food and drink donated by some great Ward 6 businesses and organizations, and the event is free and open to all Ward 6 residents — RSVP here! 

And of course, this means the award nominations are open! I need you to let me know what neighbors, businesses, organizations and anyone else who has helped make Ward 6 a great place to call home. We're accepting nominations for the best of Ward 6 in the following categories: 

• Neighbor Award
• Community Organization Award
• Business Award
• Civic Pride Award
• Public Service Award

Nominate your neighbors, local businesses, or local organizations and then share with your community and encourage them to submit nominations as well!

I'm so thrilled we'll be able to safely get back together in person to celebrate our Ward 6 community and neighbors. I can't wait to see you there!
