Good Morning Friend and Supporter,

We are just past a week from Election Day and I wanted to give you a quick update. With 263,919 ballots counted, we are trailing by a narrow 4.6%. There are an estimated 32,600 (11%) remaining ballots yet to be counted.

Unfortunately, our path to victory looks difficult at this point. That said, the race has not been called either way by the national media. We remain hopeful. Our team is working hard to ensure that all votes will be fairly and accurately tallied, and we will remain engaged with the Orange and San Diego County elections offices until the counting is through.

We will provide a daily update going forward as the final votes are tallied and reported.
