View as Webpage ‌ ‌ ‌ The ERA — It’s back… Pre-Filing of Legislation for 2020 Legislative Session The 2020 legislative session kicks off at noon on Wednesday, January 8, 2020. Please pray for our elected officials in the State House and Senate and in the U.S. House and Senate as they begin their important work. Pray for the passage of pro-life legislation to protect innocent human lives at every stage of development whether at the beginning of life or in end of life decisions. Pre-filing of legislation in the State House and Senate began December 1, 2019. At this time there have been 295 bills and 25 various resolutions filed in the Senate. And, there have been 672 bills and 29 various resolutions filed in the House. Your Missouri Right to Life Legislative Team is working with legislators on pro-life bills to file for the 2020 legislative session. We continue to review all bills filed and will be reporting weekly in the Lifeline during the legislative session. We will update you on bills that have either a positive or negative impact on our ability to protect innocent human lives at every stage of life and development.
