Our country just witnessed another mass shooting Sunday night.

A gunman slaughtered 3 students and wounded 2 others at the University of Virginia.

Students were on lockdown for 9 hours and instructed to “run, hide, and fight.” Enough is enough.

Students should never have to worry about being shot at their school. They deserve to feel safe. They deserve to live in a world without gun violence.

But the reality is gut-wrenching. Sunday night’s tragedy is just one of nearly 600 mass shootings our country has witnessed this year.
