This webinar will provide an overview of conditional permanent residence, which applies to individuals who immigrate through a marriage that is not yet two years old. Conditional residents must file an additional application, Form I-751, in order to obtain full term lawful permanent residence. We will review who is subject to conditional permanent residence and the requirements for lifting the conditions, including waivers of the joint filing requirement where the couple has divorced or there is hardship or abuse.
