John—
We recently asked if wildlife champions like you would pledge to support the National Wildlife Federation’s efforts to reduce the impacts plastic pollution has on wildlife. The outpouring of support has been truly remarkable.
As we’re seeing with the “great garbage patch” that currently resides in the Northern Pacific Ocean that has grown to be twice the size of Texas, the little things do start to really pile up. As we work to reduce the impact of plastic pollution on wildlife, we wanted to ask you what changes or activities you were taking to personally reduce your plastic footprint.
Please tell us what changes you are excited about making to curb the impact of plastic and solid waste.
Thank you for taking the time to share this important information. Your answers are important and we greatly value your input for this one minute survey.
Sincerely,
National Wildlife Federation Membership Team
P.S. You’re not alone in reducing your plastic footprint—we’re phasing out our plastic membership cards and working to reduce the amount of packaging used in our catalog products and membership gifts. Tell us more about your plans to reduce plastic waste in your lives.
