BURT JONES CONGRATULATES NEW SENATE CAUCUS LEADERSHIP

JACKSON, Ga – Today, following the Senate Caucus elections, Lieutenant Governor-elect Burt Jones offered his congratulations to the new caucus leadership. The caucus also voted unanimously to maintain the current Lieutenant Governor power structure. Senator John F. Kennedy was elected Senate President Pro Tempore, Senator Steve Gooch was elected Majority Leader, Senator Jason Anavitarte was elected Caucus Chair, and Senator Randy Robertson was elected Caucus Whip. Burt is excited about the unity and leadership represented by the caucus and is eager to hit the ground running alongside them to deliver big wins for Georgia families.
Following the elections, Lieutenant Governor-elect Burt Jones said, "I want to congratulate our new Senate President Pro Tempore Senator John F.
