DALLAS, TX – To everyone in Texas-24, thank you for putting your faith in me once again. I will continue passing legislation and delivering real results for North Texas. As America prepares for a Republican majority in Congress, I look forward to pursuing commonsense policies that will address the crises inflicted by Democrats in the last two years. You can read about some of our plans in our Commitment to America. As we celebrate Veterans’ Day today, let us reflect on the men and women who have selflessly served our country to protect our many freedoms. It has been the honor of a lifetime representing the incredible veterans of Texas-24. This week, I held a transportation roundtable with local officials and industry leaders from across the metroplex. We were able to discuss their legislative priorities for the 118th Congress and how Republicans will incorporate them as we take over in January. Yesterday, I had a productive conversation on energy policy at the Heritage Foundation Summit in Dallas. Record gas prices are devastating American families and small businesses thanks to recent repeated attacks on American energy. With a Republican majority, I look forward to empowering American energy and lowering gas prices for every American. I also had the opportunity to speak to Texas-24's newest company – JBB Advanced Technologies – about my work in Congress supporting North Texas businesses. Hometown Hero of the Week Our Texas-24 Hometown Hero of the week is St. John the Apostle Catholic School in North Richland Hills for being just one of seven private schools in the state to receive the 2022 Blue Ribbon School Award from the Department of Education.
