Friend, I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you did to support this movement in 2019.

Whether you donated, volunteered, signed to help get my name on the ballot, shared one of our posts on social media, or told a friend about our campaign, your collective efforts have made us into a campaign that has what it takes to win and give the people of District 25 true representation.

We've met with, talked to, heard from and reached out to thousands of new voters from every walk of life. We've gotten powerful endorsements from progressive leaders throughout Texas. And we've seen our message of ending political corruption, establishing universal healthcare, and reshaping our democracy resonate with the communities who will decide the election.

All over Texas, and all over this country, people are standing up to reject the status quo and the cynicism that has defined our politics for too long, and we have seen powerful movements continue to be built for better pay for teachers and airline workers, to enact common-sense gun safety legislation, to fight mass incarceration and to respond at the scale required to address the global climate crisis.

And this is only the beginning.

Tomorrow, I'm heading out on a big districtwide tour, driving to every corner to ensure that we can continue to meet with real people, and to keep this campaign running the right way so that our message can keep getting out there. It's the next step of our journey, and it would not be possible without you.

So thank you for letting me be part of this with you -- I look forward to everything ahead in 2020. Onward and upward!
