First off, thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

We’ve been sprinting towards the midterms for a while now, and I’m deeply grateful that you stayed in the fight.

It mattered. Every donation, every phone call, every doorknock — it all made a difference in razor-thin races. We’ve pulled off some fabulous victories already — more on that below — and the votes are still being counted in some other elections.

But before I get to that, we just got some major news: My friend and colleague Senator Raphael Warnock is officially in a runoff election against Herschel Walker on December 6.

This race could decide who controls the Senate — or it could finally give Democrats a bigger majority. Can you split a donation between Raphael Warnock and our re-election campaign today, and help send him back to the Senate? Let’s win another Georgia runoff. [[link removed]]

I’m very happy that Raphael Warnock is still in the running, and I’m inspired by so many wins we’ve already seen.

Here in Massachusetts, we flipped the governor’s seat and elected my friend Maura Healey — a woman who fights to protect working families and has gone toe to toe with for-profit colleges and Big Oil. And we passed a ballot measure to fund public education and transportation by raising taxes just a few cents on each dollar of income over a million dollars — investing in opportunity for all.

In Michigan, this team helped pass a ballot measure enshrining reproductive freedom into the state constitution. And you helped elect outstanding Democrats across the country. Here are just a few that I emailed you about recently:

-John Fetterman flipped a Republican-held Senate seat in Pennsylvania, giving us a path towards expanding our majority.
-Maggie Hassan won her Senate re-election campaign in New Hampshire.
-Tony Evers earned a second term as Wisconsin’s governor.
-Josh Shapiro won Pennsylvania’s gubernatorial race.
-Nikki Budzinski and Summer Lee delivered victories in hotly contested House elections.

And even though their general elections weren’t the most suspenseful, it was terrific to see progressive champions like Maxwell Alejandro Frost, Becca Balint, Delia Ramirez, Greg Casar, and Jasmine Crockett win after we supported them in their House primaries earlier this year.

Now, we also saw some tough losses. I wish Mandela Barnes were on his way to the Senate. I wish Stacey Abrams were on her way to the governor’s mansion. I wish Michelle Vallejo were on her way to the House. I’m deeply grateful for how they fought their hearts out, built grassroots campaigns, and inspired supporters who will be ready to jump into the next fight, and the fight after that.

There are more races still up in the air — from Jamie McLeod-Skinner and Andrea Salinas in Oregon to Catherine Cortez-Masto in Nevada.

But we’ve got a lot to be proud of. Experts kept saying that we were in for a “red wave” no matter what. They kept insisting that Democrats had no chance. But we didn’t whimper. We didn’t whine. We fought back. And we won big races across the country.

Here’s the way I see it: No matter what the pundits predict, we always have the power to shape our democracy. I’m grateful down to my toes for everyone who rolled up their sleeves and didn’t back down. When we persist together, we win together.

And we’ve got another chance to win together by re-electing Raphael Warnock in his runoff on December 6. His campaign is running through the finish line with no break — let’s help them turn out every possible vote. Split a donation between Raphael Warnock and Warren Democrats today if you can. Thanks for being a part of this,

Elizabeth
