Hi friend, did you see my email last week?

On Saturday 12 November, people all over the world will be marching for climate justice.
From the cost-of-living crisis to the climate emergency, unjust debt to racial justice - none of these are isolated struggles. As the COP27 climate summit get's into full swing, we need to let those in power know that the time is NOW. Let's rise up together and fight for justice.

You can find information about actions taking place across the UK here:

Hi friend,

Debt Justice = Climate Justice
From the cost-of-living crisis to the climate emergency, unjust debt to racial justice - none of these are isolated struggles. As world leaders gather for the global climate summit in November, let's rise up together and fight for justice.

Which is why supporting this year's national climate mobilisation on Saturday 12 November is worthwhile. Debt activists will be joining the London march - but there are actions taking place across the country.

The devastating floods in Pakistan are a stark reminder of the links between debt and climate justice. Pakistan was already in a debt crisis before the flash floods unleashed widespread destruction – with $12.5 billion of debt repayments due this year alone.

It's outrageous that countries that have contributed the least to the climate crisis, are the first to pay the price. What will world leaders do about this?

Next week, they will be gathering in Egypt for the international climate talks, COP 27. Protest in Egypt will be severely curtailed, so on Saturday 12th November, people around the world are marching in solidarity with campaigners in Egypt, and to call on world leaders to protect both people and planet.

If you’re not able to make it to London, there are loads of different actions taking place across the country that you can join.

By coming together we can really make an impact.
