It’s official, team: I’ve won the election to represent Kentucky’s 3rd District in Congress.
I can’t begin to express how grateful I am for all the support I have received since I entered this race. I’m so grateful to my family for standing with me, to my campaign staff for their long hours of hard work, to the volunteers who knocked on doors and put up signs and marched in parades, and to you, for being part of this team.
There is no way I could have won this race without you. I can’t thank you enough for that.
I spent the evening with supporters and the morning with my family reflecting on the road that brought us to this victory. But now the real work begins. I’m ready to go to Congress to stand up for what I know is right: from affordable healthcare to common sense gun reform to protecting Social Security and Medicare to putting Roe into law to restore reproductive rights in Kentucky and across the country.
With your help, we’ve held this seat. Now, I’m determined to do everything I can in Congress to continue fighting for Louisville, Kentucky, and the country.
