JOHN, when your country called, you answered.

I simply cannot express it enough …
I am proud to know when America called, you answered. Regardless of the political outcome, you stood for what is right in the face of tyranny.

This may not be the moment in history any of us were hoping for, but that word, hope, is still alive because America’s future doesn’t reside in Washington, it lives within We the People. It lives within you.

We hoped to secure this seat, but honestly, I had already won being given the opportunity to sit at your table, where leadership truly resides.

For this, it’s gratitude I express, but not goodbye.
