We did it! I won my race for Iowa State House District 1. I really can’t thank you enough for all the support you’ve given me along the way.
Make no mistake: We have massive challenges ahead. I am ready to work hard to Fix, Fight and Secure Iowa’s future .
I will work for an affordable, accessible health care system for ALL. Iowans shouldn’t have to rely on donation boxes at gas stations or pancake breakfasts or a GoFundMe to pay for medical costs. We need comprehensive, quality health care for all, no matter how much money someone has in the bank or where they live.
I will FIGHT for an economy that works for everyone. We are living in the 2nd Gilded Age where corporate monopolies dominate entire industries. I will work to empower the small businesses that make our communities thrive, and ensure they’re not getting squeezed out by giant corporations.
I will work to SECURE our children’s future. Iowa used to be “First in the Nation in Education.” But Iowa Republicans at the Capitol are defunding our public schools and attacking our educators. I will stand up for our public schools, teachers, students and parents alike. It’s time we make Iowa first in the nation in education again.
I am so thankful for your support over the years. It’s time to turn the page and work toward a promising future that serves all of Iowa’s communities.
