We did it! I’ve officially been re-elected to serve the people of Georgia’s 7th District in Congress. I’m feeling a lot of emotions right now, but first and foremost I want to express my gratitude to you, John. I owe this victory to every single person who’s supported my campaign. Whether you donated a few dollars, volunteered your time, shared something on social media, or even talked to a friend about my race – I couldn’t have won without you. To me, winning re-election is proof of what I’ve known all along: Georgians believe in the work I’m doing, and they believe in my vision for our state. Since I was sworn into Congress in January 2019, I’ve been fighting for comprehensive gun reform, lower prescription drug costs, reproductive freedom, and so much more. I’m blessed to serve my district for another two years so I can continue my efforts in Washington DC. Lastly – after countless hours spent chatting with folks on the campaign trail, I’m left with a deep sense of appreciation for the next generation of Georgia. There are so many smart, passionate, and engaged young people who are working hard to improve their communities.
