Dear John,

The initial results are in and we’re excited.

Pro-life candidates are close throughout Oregon, and while there are many ballots left to count, we're staying optimistic.

The race to the governor’s mansion is tight and we can't make a call either way at this point. But we're confident in pro-life Oregonians and Christine Drazan's hard work.

The candidates we supported for U.S. House are looking strong. Lori Chavez-DeRemer (CD 5) is currently ahead of McLeod-Skinner.

With the opportunity to take the majority, a huge focus has been set on the State Senate. Here are some of the key races we’re keeping a close eye on:

Kim Thatcher (R-Keizer) and Suzanne Weber (R-Tillamook) both lead their opponents. Bill Kennemer (R-Oregon City) is in a close race.

In state house races, Kevin Mannix (R-Salem) and Tracy Cramer (R-Woodburn) both lead by a few percent. Cyrus Javadi (R-Tillamook) is close behind his opponent, and Adam Baker (R-Gladstone), Jeff Helfrich (R-Hood River) and Michael Sipe (R-Bend) are trailing slightly.

Tonight’s election is being watched at a national level with a political climate we haven’t seen in decades.

We’ll be keeping in touch tomorrow and Friday if there is anything to report, but in the meantime, visit https://results.oregonvotes.gov/ to track the races near you!
