Well, John, today’s the day. After nearly a year of campaigning, it’s finally Election Day, and I couldn’t be more excited.

In case you haven’t voted yet, I’ve included a list of helpful tips at the bottom to help make it a breeze, but that’s not why I wanted to reach out.

I wanted to send this email to say, from the bottom of my heart, thank you.

It’s been one hell of a ride and—win or lose tonight—I wanted you to know just how thankful I am for your support during this race.

It’s incredible to remember that just nine months ago, this election was considered final by nearly every major political operative and outlet across the country.

But together, we proved that any soil is fertile soil for those who believe in, and are willing to fight for, their freedom. In the face of what they said was possible, we stood up for workers, for the environment, and, of course, for the rights of women everywhere.

We fought for progress against the odds and grew a grassroots coalition the likes of which have never been seen here before.

For that, and so much more, thank you.
