Social Security’s future is on the ballot tomorrow — and the U.S. Senate election in Georgia is one of the most critical races in the country.

Republicans have told us over and over again that if they take control of Congress, they plan to force cuts to our earned Social Security and Medicare benefits. Rick Scott, chair of the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC), is proudly promoting his plan to put Social Security and Medicare on the chopping block.

The Republican nominee in Georgia’s Senate race, Herschel Walker, is holding campaign rallies with Scott. Walker’s campaign has received millions of dollars from Scott’s NRSC. If Walker wins, he will be a rubber stamp for the Republican agenda of stealing our earned benefits.

Walker’s opponent, Reverend Raphael Warnock, won a special election in early 2021 and is now running for a full term in the U.S. Senate. Warnock’s been in the Senate for less than two years, but he’s already distinguished himself as a leader on lowering drug prices and protecting our earned benefits.

Control of the Senate is hanging in the balance, and Social Security’s future is at stake. We need to make sure Social Security champion Raphael Warnock defeats Herschel Walker. Chip in $5 to support Warnock’s campaign.
