The other day, I was doing some door knocking and usually I’m pretty good at telling if someone might have already voted – and when I got to this one door, I knew our system hadn’t updated yet.
When one person opened the door, they were like, “Well, hey there! I’ve already voted.”
He asked who I was, and when I pointed to my shirt and told him that Kelly Krout was me, he smiled and told me he voted for me.
Then he told me that I am needed and appreciated, and thanked me for what I’m doing. 🥺🥺
I really needed that. Campaigning can be tough on the spirit some days, but it’s little moments like this that keep me running.
We’ve got 2 days until polls close on Election Day – and I’ve got a big favor. Will you help me and my team keep reaching voters across Arkansas?
