Hi folks —

With Election Day just around the corner, I wanted to take a moment to reach out to you about a few critically important races.

I know races at the top of the ballot usually grab headlines, but we also have important election battles at the state and local levels here in North Carolina — races that will make the difference in safeguarding reproductive rights and defending our right to vote.

This summer, a federal judge reinstated North Carolina’s 20-week abortion ban — severely restricting the right to choose here in our state. Now, Republicans in the state legislature want to go further — potentially banning abortion outright, with no exceptions for rape or incest.

Thankfully, Governor Cooper has vowed to veto any legislation that crosses his desk restricting a woman’s right to make her own healthcare choices, but if Republicans win the veto-proof supermajority in the state legislature, they could override his veto and enact an extreme agenda that’s wrong for North Carolina.

That’s why my team and I are working hard to support Democratic State House and State Senate candidates here in North Carolina who will hold the line to make sure women have access to reproductive care at the local level. And I’m asking you to stand with us.

Can you make a donation of $10 or any amount you can give to the North Carolina Senate and House Democratic Caucuses today? With so much on the line, your support is more important than ever.

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your split donation will go through immediately:
