John,

As we approach the finish line of this campaign, I want to tell y'all about the first thing that spurred me to seriously consider a run for Attorney General.

In 2019, I learned that a Sterigenics plant in my State Senate district was emitting a cancer-causing chemical called ethylene oxide. I believed that the Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD) had failed to do its job by allowing this plant to operate – they knew that the levels of ethylene oxide being released were causing harm to our local communities.

My constituents – and all Georgians – should never have to take the backseat to the interests of big corporations. So, I sued the EPD and asked Chris Carr for his help in shutting down the plant on behalf of the people of Georgia. But he did nothing.

I started this campaign because I knew that it was time for Georgians to have an advocate for them — not special interests — in the Attorney General’s office. Will you donate $10 to help us finish this campaign strong and elect a leader who will fight for the people and protect our environment? We are just 2 days away from Election Day, and we need the resources to fight for every last vote.

Whether he’s refusing to shut down a plant that pollutes our air, taking money from a company that inflated drug prices, or enacting harsh restrictions on abortion, Chris Carr has shown time and time again that he will always put the interests of big corporations and radical Republicans before Georgians.

It’s time Georgians had an Attorney General who understands that the law ought to be used as a tool for justice, not for protecting the powerful. And that’s why I’m running to take down Chris Carr once and for all: when we use the law, the people must come first.

John, I’m counting on your support in these final days before we cross the finish line. Will you chip in $10 (or any amount) right now to help us reach as many voters as possible before Election Day?

Thanks so much,

Jen Jordan
