Hi folks — This morning, I’ve been reflecting on the past few years and all that we’ve accomplished. If you have a few minutes today, I’d love to share my thoughts with you.

In 2019, we launched our campaign for the U.S. Senate with one goal in mind: Ending the partisan gridlock in Washington so we could make a real difference for Coloradans.

We were up against a powerful Republican incumbent who had the backing of every right-wing super PAC and mega-donor you could imagine. But we were hoping there were enough people who, like us, were ready for change.

And there were. Thanks to the support of thousands of grassroots supporters like you, we overcame the millions spent to defeat us and ended up winning our race — and flipped the Senate majority, too.

So much has happened since then.

Our Democratic majorities got right to work tackling the COVID-19 pandemic and passed legislation to expand access to vaccines and help folks make it through that challenging time.

Then, we worked across the aisle to secure an once-in-a-generation investment to modernize our nation’s infrastructure. And I was thrilled that this legislation included the RECHARGE Act, our bill to make driving electric vehicles more affordable and accessible.

And this year, we passed the Inflation Reduction Act — a historic bill that’ll lower health care costs, reduce our nation’s deficit, and will make the largest investment ever to fight climate change.

We’ve made incredible progress over the last two years, and I can’t stress this enough: None of it would have been possible without you.

Now, it’s on us to protect our Democratic majorities so we can build on our progress — from restoring reproductive rights for women across the nation to continuing to tackle climate change and protecting Social Security — there’s so much on the line.
