John- Dan Crenshaw here. This week, with Election Day just around the corner, I continued to call on voters to pay special attention to the critical down ballot races that have an enormous impact on the safety and prosperity of our local communities. I challenged Democrats who want to “declare a pandemic amnesty” and skip accountability for the destructive COVID lockdowns of our schools. And I made a pitch to undecided voters who are on the fence about supporting Republican candidates by reminding them what we stand for: security. As always, thank you for your support. Now, here’s your campaign brief: EVERY REPUBLICAN, EVERY RACE Harris County—my home—is a microcosm of the broader story of America over the past few years, where Democrat policies nationwide have created skyrocketing crime, corruption, and economic decline in our major cities. Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo is one the worst local leaders in the country. But her draconian COVID restrictions and budget tricks that defunded law enforcement are typical of the far-left leaders you’ll find in almost every major city. What’s also typical is that these local officials will often appear very far down your ballot. In the case of Harris County, voters have over 80 races to select. This includes County Judge and dozens of judicial seats that will have a much greater and immediate impact on our lives than any statewide or federal race. It is not hyperbole to say that Lina Hidalgo and the Democrat criminal court judges who swept into office in 2018 are a danger to Harris County. Just look at these statistics: No matter where you live, it is absolutely critical that you vote for every Republican in every race. Five minutes of your time will make the difference for thousands of crime victims. Find your nearest polling location in Harris County and Montgomery County REWRITING HISTORY There’s an article floating around online from The Atlantic that has a pretty insulting message: forgive and forget those who pushed COVID lockdowns on our schools and communities. The author says that we have to “learn from our mistakes and let go,” and stop “dwelling on the mistakes of history.” The issue here is Democrats who insisted on shutting down America’s schools can’t even admit it was a mistake. They’re trying to rewrite history and instead, take credit for the inevitable re-opening of the schools—something they did everything in their power to stop. The people who forced our kids into online learning haven’t even asked for forgiveness—and instead are pretending they played no role in our kids’ declining math and reading skills and increased mental health issues. We have to make sure this will never happen again, and that starts with accountability. WHAT DO WE STAND FOR? Click here or on the image above to watch Democrats have held control of the House, Senate, and White House for nearly the last two years. Complete control of our government. And what did they accomplish? Record inflation, soaring gas prices, and complete chaos on our southern border. That’s why we need to do everything in our power to make sure Republicans take back the House, take back the Senate, and win elections up and down the ballot next Tuesday. If you talk to a voter who might be on the fence about voting for Republicans, tell them that Republicans are simply for security: We are for security at our southern border. We are for economic security, both as a country and for individual families. We are for energy security and your ability to have affordable and predictable prices at the pump and on your electricity bills. We are for security in our communities and ensuring violent criminals aren’t running loose on our streets. And we are for securing the principles of our Founding and securing your fundamental rights guaranteed under our Constitution. If we secure the majority next Tuesday and secure victories up and down the ballot, we will start to secure this country in all aspects. But we need to run through the tape. We can’t afford to have ANYONE, including you, sitting on the sidelines.
