Veterans Day Free Ride


On Friday, November 11, the Denton County Transportation Authority (DCTA) continues its annual Veterans Day tradition of offering complimentary transit rides to veterans and active military service members in thanks to their service to our country. To receive free rides all day, people won?t need any special documentation.

The promotion is valid on the following DCTA services only:


* A-train Commuter Rail [ [link removed] ]
* Denton Connect Bus [ [link removed] ]
* University of North Texas (UNT) Campus Shuttles [ [link removed] ]
* GoZone [ [link removed] ]

Other DCTA services not listed are not included in the agency?s Veterans Day free ride promotion. In addition, DCTA?s promotion is not valid on Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) [ [link removed] ], Trinity Metro [ [link removed] ] and Trinity Railway Express (TRE) [ [link removed] ] services. Riders need to purchase appropriate fare if they plan to transfer for that portion of their trip.
