John,

This year, Democrats in the U.S. Senate delivered landmark legislation that will lower costs for Granite Staters and strengthen this country’s economy all while investing in the fight against climate change and taking on corporate special interests.

But this victory was only possible thanks to the 1,017 votes that secured this seat in 2016.

That's right. I won this seat by less than half of a percentage point -- one of the closest Senate races in history.

It was thanks to those 1,017 votes that Senate Democrats saved the Affordable Care Act in 2017, passed the American Rescue Plan in 2021, confirmed the first Black woman to the Supreme Court in 2022 and helped pass the Inflation Reduction Act.

That's the difference 1,017 votes make.

But now that I’m up for reelection, political experts are calling New Hampshire one of the most likely seats to flip and two back-to-back polls show me down by one point to my Republican opponent.

With so much on the line this election, 1,017 votes is too close for comfort. That's why I'm calling on you. Defending this seat and our Democratic Senate majority is only possible with the help of grassroots supporters like you.

Please, split a donation between my campaign and Amy Klobuchar to help us keep this seat blue and continue making progress in the U.S. Senate.

Thank you for everything.
With every good wish,
