Folks, since early voting started on October 20, I’ve been out at the polls all over the district.

It’s an incredible time of year to be crisscrossing WNC, with the leaves on full display. At the polls, from libraries to community centers, my approach is to say hi to everyone and start a conversation. People will let you know pretty quickly whether they plan to vote for you or not, but the conversations don’t end there.

And that’s exactly the point. I’m not going to earn every vote across Western North Carolina and there are people who vigorously disagree with me on a lot of issues. But that doesn’t mean we stop talking to each other.

I plan to lead NC-11 with love, hope, and empathy – regardless of whether I earned your vote or not. Our district deserves a representative who will work with all of our constituents – Republicans, Democrats, and independents alike – to deliver real solutions.

But my right-wing opponent has a really different approach. He only works to serve his Republican allies, not NC-11’s working families. I’ll do everything I can to stop him from carrying out his toxic vision for our district, but I can’t do it without your help.

Will you please rush $25 or more today to defeat right-wing extremism in WNC? We’re five days away from Election Day and we need to raise $27,409 left of our goal to keep meeting voters where they’re at.
