John, buckle up for some not-so-great news:

I couldn’t be any more grateful to all of yinz + youse who pitched in toward our final end-of-month deadline. But my team did the math, and unfortunately, we fell exactly 4% short of our $5 million goal.

With less than one week left (!!!), we’ve absolutely gotta close this gap ASAP if we’re going to defeat Dr. Oz + flip this seat blue.

I don’t want to wake up in seven days knowing I didn’t give this race my all, and I bet you feel the same. So please John, split a donation of any amount between our campaign + Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot today to close this gap, even just $3.

Our race — and control of the U.S. Senate — will be decided over the next 6 days.

There’s *so* much at risk if we lose, from Republicans passing a national abortion ban to the literal fate of our democracy.

But there’s also *so* much that’s possible if we succeed at sending me to be the 51st Democratic vote in the Senate — starting with scrapping the filibuster + actually getting sh*t done for working people.

So what do you say? Will you split a donation of any amount between my campaign + Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot today?

Believe me when I say this: your donation will not go unappreciated. In a tough race like this, every single dollar makes a HUGE difference.
