[1]Cheri Beasley for North Carolina

Meredith College just released a brand new poll today that shows Cheri Beasley down by just 1 point. That’s well within the margin of error — a statistical dead heat.

Their analysts say this race will “[come] down to which campaign gets its voters to the polls on or before Election Day.” It’s all about turnout now, and a very small number of votes could make all the difference on Election Day.

Early voting is still happening, and we are aiming for our largest GOTV effort ever this weekend. But there are still investments in organizing that we need to make if we’re going to pull this off.

Please contribute anything you can today. Every dollar will be immediately invested in our organizing efforts today to make sure we reach the voters that Cheri needs to win.

Cheri has kept this race tied for months. Outside Republican groups have spent over $63 million to try to take her down and buy this seat for Ted Budd. But we’ve fended off their lies and smears at every turn, and we’re not stopping now.

We will not take a single county or voter for granted — especially when this poll shows that 6 percent remain undecided. It’s those voters that can swing this race to victory.

Less than 1 percent of votes could decide whether we expand the majority so Cheri can cast the decisive vote for progress on climate change, voting rights, codifying Roe, and more.

Will you please make a contribution today to keep up our momentum and help us secure a historic victory on Tuesday? It’s clearer than ever that Cheri can win, but she cannot do this alone.
