Friend,

My good friend William Peters said it best when he announced his campaign for state representative.

"I am no longer willing to sit back in silence," he told me back in April.
William's campaign has been anything but quiet since.

As many of you know, he is the Republican nominee for the Second Barnstable District. He was instrumental over the summer in leading his team to collect thousands of signatures needed to put Question 4, the referendum asking voters whether or not the approve the Democrats' law granting driver's licenses to illegal immigrants, on next Tuesday's ballot.

William is an active member at his church, and he and his wife are proud residents of West Barnstable, where they've chosen to raise their four children. He stands for the rule of law, parental rights, and individual freedoms. He is an entrepreneur, having launched the startup Cape Bioresearch, and is now president of a company specializing in refurbishing biotech equipment.

William is challenging a first-term Democrat in a very winnable district for Republicans, and the work I've seen him put into his campaign has convinced me he is absolutely deserving of your support.

We cannot allow this opportunity to elect people down-ballot pass through our fingers. The power in Massachusetts policymaking rests with the Legislature, and adding to our ranks on Beacon Hill is now more important than ever.

We are proud to support William's campaign, and we know you will be as well.
