John, we’re at risk.

Darren Bailey is the far-right extremist running for Governor of Illinois right now.

Paul Vallas is masquerading as a “Democrat” in the race for Chicago Mayor.

In theory, they’re in opposite parties … but sometimes it’s hard to tell the difference between them. Paul Vallas has so strongly aligned himself with Republican views that he can’t even be considered a moderate Democrat.

(If you’re already up to speed on Vallas’ extremism, rush a donation to elect Lori Lightfoot right now).

Look at these quotes — it’s hard to decipher if the quote came from extremist Republican Darren Bailey or “Democrat” Paul Vallas.

On Democratic leadership, they’ve said:

“This city has been dominated by Democrats for like … 50 or 60 years? I mean, what do we have to show for it?"
– Paul Vallas [Barstool Sports, 2/17/22]

“Chicago has been Democrat controlled..... forever? Illinois has been Democrat-controlled for nearly 50 years. The problem is obvious. It’s time for a real change.”
– Darren Bailey [Facebook, 12/08/20]

On COVID-19 vaccines and safety mandates, they’ve said:

“It’s destroying our businesses, it’s destroyed our schools, it’s created a lot of emotional, physical problems. And now we’re to a point where it’s creating division, period.”
-Darren Bailey [The Center Square, 05/07/22]

“If China and Russia had devised a plan that would wreck our economy, destroy our education system, and undermine our long-term competitiveness, they could have never developed a better plan than our self-imposed COVID mitigations.”
-Paul Vallas [The Real Story with Jeanne Ives, 02/11/22]

And those are just a few examples, John.

We can’t let someone this extreme take over our city by lying about his political affiliation. We need to stop him and his agenda in their tracks.

So please, rush a contribution to Lori Lightfoot right away. We need your help to power this campaign to victory.
