We’re coming up on our final end-of-month deadline before the November election, but instead of talking about that, first I want to talk about a disgusting new ad the GOP launched against one of our frontline candidates — Senator Loranne Ausley.
If you haven’t seen it, I’ll spare you the trouble and tell you exactly what they did:
❌ Implied that the word “gay” is “extreme”
❌ Made offensive allegations about Loranne’s support for gender-affirming care
❌ Claimed she supports “transgender men competing in women’s sports”
All because Senator Ausley spoke out against the GOP’s ‘Don’t Say Gay’ bill and their ongoing attacks on our LGBTQ community.
This is what we’re up against, John — a party that will spread disgusting lies, make LGBTQ Floridians feel unsafe and unwelcome, and support an extreme, anti-equality agenda that puts lives at risk to score political points.
