Hold on a sec, sorry. Let’s back up.

My name is Jeremy and I’m the Field Director for Team AOC. I wanted to
take a pause from the insanity leading up to this election and directly
connect with you on the matter of our field program. While many
politicians rely on petty attack ads and soulless mailers, I’m proud to
share that our campaign relies on something much simpler: on-the-ground
contact with real voters.

a donation of any amount to our
campaign, it would go a long way in making these voter connections over
the next 9 days. (But if you’re not convinced, keep reading…)

We prioritize real interactions with the residents of NY-14 above any
media strategy or string of appearances, and our entire field program is
funded through small dollar donations from supporters like you. And oh
boy, do we put those donations to good use...

You see, running a field program requires a lot of STUFF. I’m talking:
palm cards, pledge-to-vote cards, policy literature and flyers,
clipboards, pens, mobilizing email software, texting programs, phone
banking dialers, T-shirts, buttons, advanced voter outreach software (that
we developed ourselves in 2018!), not to mention – office rent. That’s
right. Team AOC pays rent, just like you.

And our next 9 days are going to be hectic. We’re running teach-ins,
marching in parades, getting folks out for early voting, directing voters
to the poll sites, working with allied elected officials, partnering with
coalitions like Working Families Party, NYPAN, and Our Revolution, and
hitting phones, texts, and doors as hard as possible.

Yeah, you guessed it…this all costs $$$ too.
