It is officially spooky season and we wish your families a safe, fun, and treat-filled Halloween weekend. This past week, Congressman Kim was happy to speak with neighbors at his 56th town hall and travel around the community to visit and support local organizations.

For all who celebrated Diwali this past Monday, we hope you had a happy and prosperous holiday!

As always, we hope you find the following updates and resources helpful.

Last week, Congressman Kim hosted his monthly town hall in Burlington City. As always, the event provided community members with the chance to ask the Congressman questions and hear more about his work in Congress. Congressman Kim was honored to have the Burlington City JROTC present our nation’s colors and lead the pledge of allegiance.

During the Town Hall, Congressman Kim presented his recently introduced Supporting Our First Responders Act to Jaime Wood, chief officer of Lumberton EMS and a constituent of New Jersey’s 3rd District, to thank them for bringing the idea and need for this legislation to the Congressman.

He also presented the Congressional Award Gold Medal to Shannon Rhatigan for her exemplary community involvement and hundreds of hours of service, personal development, physical fitness, and Expedition or Exploration. The Congressional Award is Congress’ highest honor for youth.
