John,

A few of my supporters reached out this morning and expressed concern about a poll the New York Times released last night. I want you to hear from me directly: this poll is yet another deceptive attempt to defeat our campaign.

Over the past several months, Sharice Davids has spent millions to lie about my positions. Her goal is to deceive voters, and outside groups have spent tens of thousands of dollars in a desperate attempt to move the needle in this tight race. The good news is that Davids’ millions are proving to be a poor investment. As of yesterday, FiveThirtyEight once again ranked our race a “toss-up.”

This poll is just another desperate attempt to depress our momentum leading up to election day.

The Kansas City Star ran an article last night about the poll, and even local Democratic strategists and journalists agree that this is a close race: “I don’t know what model the Times is using but this is going to be a very tight race. Our polls show it’s a true toss-up at this point.” As I noted in my comments to The Star, Nancy Pelosi and her House Majority PAC would not have just spent another $650,000 in KS-03 to save Davids’ political career if she had a lead.

No matter how much money or how many lies they throw at us, I will keep fighting through November 8th. I just finished a Facebook LIVE, and if you missed it you can watch below to hear an update on the debates, our events this weekend, and more about how our momentum continues to grow.

But now more than ever, I need your help. Sign up below to send a message to KS-03 that we are ready for new leadership that gives Kansas families and businesses the freedom and opportunity to thrive.
