Since Justice Democrats recruited Summer Lee, we helped her run a historic campaign in PA-12, overcome the odds, and win the Democratic primary. Right now we’re laser-focused on ensuring Summer gets elected on November 8.

In the last month alone, Super PACs have spent millions of dollars attacking Summer and her campaign, and we’re only 12 days out from the election.

Justice Democrats helped Summer build a people-powered movement from the ground up, but now her grassroots campaign is up against millions. With just days to go, can you split a $3 donation between JD & Summer’s campaign?

In other election cycles this seat might be safe. But because of manipulative Republican tactics and the corrupting influence of Super PAC money, we’re up against two particularly difficult challenges:

1. Next door to PA-12 is PA-17, one of the most competitive House seats in the country. Republicans have spent well millions in ads that ostensibly attack the Democratic candidate in PA-17, but spend the majority of the ad focusing on negatives about Summer Lee. These ads have been on air on local TV in Pittsburgh for over a month.
2. Republicans are running a candidate named Mike Doyle - the same name as the retiring Democrat who was Pittsburgh's Congressman for nearly 30 years. The campaign hears from confused voters every day who think Summer is running against Democratic Congressman Mike Doyle. Further, Republican Mike Doyle is doing everything he can to further sow confusion, from never identifying as a Republican to misleading robocalls.

We need your help to set the record straight and ensure voters know Summer’s opponent is an anti-abortion, insurrection aligned, extreme Republican.

With more financial resources, Summer’s campaign can use paid communications and its field program to communicate with confused voters, make sure they understand who is actually on the ballot and who is not, and make sure they are hearing some positive messaging about Summer. There are also crucial statewide elections in PA for Governor and Senate and strong turnout in this district is crucial to ensuring statewide Democratic candidates win their elections.

Justice Democrats and Summer’s team are working non-stop to share her positive, people-first vision for PA-12 as we get out the vote. It’s never been more important than in these last 12 days, but we urgently need to raise funds to ensure voters hear Summer’s message.
