A huge thank you to the 40 readers who’ve joined our Neighborhood in the last few weeks. We only need 10 more new Neighbors to make our goal!

This year, for the first time in GGWash's history, we've expanded our policy team to include dedicated staff focused on state and local issues in Maryland and Virginia.
We could not be more excited.
Dan Reed came on board as our regional policy director in May, and is focused mainly on housing and land use policy in Maryland and Northern Virginia. He is working to make sure we build enough housing to ensure everyone who lives in our region is able to do so safely and with dignity.
But this is just the beginning and we need to grow this team sooner rather than later.
With the passage of Thrive 2050, new governors taking office, the Purple and Silver Lines on the horizon, and so many other consequential changes afoot, there is so much work to be done.
To that end, why we’ve set a goal: we need to welcome 50 new Neighbors to the GGWash Neighborhood [ggwash.org/neighborhood] – our membership program for recurring donors – by the end of October.
We’ve got 4 days left and only need 10 more readers to join us. Will you be next?
Most Neighbors contribute $10 per month or $120 per year, but for as little as $5 a month, you can help grow the work to ensure Maryland and Northern Virginia have more housing and more affordable housing, in places where it's easy and safe to get around without a car.
