Over the past decade, my opponent, Frank Farry, has voted to cut funding for PA schools by more than a billion dollars. Now, he is supporting Doug Mastriano, who plans to cut $13 billion more from our public schools!

I believe all children deserve equal access to a well-rounded public school education. Students should be provided with a range of experiences that better prepare them for financial stability — including college and career guidance and vocational opportunities. Well-funded public schools are an investment that provides our economy with the human capital to navigate the future. We cannot afford to leave our schools underfunded, understaffed, and in toxic conditions!
