My good friend Senator Mike Lee of Utah is in a very tough re-election race and needs our help.
I'm so fired up about this race I went out to Utah to campaign for Mike. I got to cheer him on during the heated debate.
In an embarrassing moment, McMullin got triggered by the sight of Mike's "Pocket Constitution" and told him to stop using it as a "prop." Mike Lee just waved the Constitution proudly in response -- swampy characters don't like to be reminded of the restrictions the Constitution places on their power.
Utah is a bright red state, but Mitt Romney is refusing to endorse Mike and his opponent, Evan McMullin, is a weak establishment hack running as an "independent" -- the reality is that McMullin could keep CHUCK SCHUMER as Senate Majority Leader.
Mike is not only one of the most principled conservative fighters in Congress, but he's also truly one of the most decent people in all of Washington.
Mike Lee is a powerful defender of unborn life, gun rights, sound economics and border security. He's a smart, effective Senator who doesn't back down from what he believes--EVER!
There's not much time before the election -- we are LESS than TWO WEEKS away. We need to make sure Mike Lee has all that he needs to win during this critical time!
