John -

I'm packing my bags for the COP27 climate meetings — a worldwide event
that will set the future for our climate.

I'll arrive in Egypt in a little over a week to represent 350.org and each
and every one of the climate activists in our movement. But as we speak,
there are hundreds of fossil fuel lobbyists packing their bags too.

The good news is that 350.org has 34 spots for climate activists and
movement partners to join me in Egypt. So that's why we're hoping to fill
every single spot to even the odds.

That brings me to why I'm reaching out to you today,
John:

We still need to raise $25,000 to cover ALL costs before the COP27
meetings start so that we can send all 34 climate activists to the climate
talks. So I am asking you personally:

[ [link removed] ]Can you make a
$3.50
donation today so that we can afford to send all 34 climate activists to
the COP27 meetings in Egypt?

I know it may not always seem like it, but your
$3.50
contribution is quite frankly helping defeat fossil fuels and the fossil
fuel industry. When you chip in to support our campaigns and our work, you
are enabling real change in communities around the world.

Because unlike Big Oil's lobbyists who have endless pots of money to get
their disastrous projects in front of world leaders, our climate activists
rely on supporters like you chipping in $5, $10, or whatever you can, to
afford basic lodging, food, and internet connection during the conference
so that we can organize for bold climate action around the clock.

But with only 10 days left, we are still falling short if we are going to
send more climate activists to the climate talks.

The most inspiring thing about our climate movement is that when every
person chips in what they can, we are able to achieve what most people
think is impossible. Already we have pushed financial backers like
Citigroup, Deutsche Bank, HSBC, Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan Chase, Wells
Fargo, and so many more to pull out of funding the East African Crude Oil
Pipeline. And we're only just getting started.

[ [link removed] ]If you can, please consider making a contribution today so we can push
the world leaders at COP27 to take the bold climate action our planet
desperately needs.

I'll keep you posted every step of the way on how your contribution is
helping us protect our climate and our communities. More soon.

In solidarity,

Omar Elmawi
