In order to maintain our majority after this election and grow the
Democratic party for the long term, we must take on corporate power.

For too long, Democrats have been too shy and too scared to confront
corporations head on. That fear shows up when we talk about inflation and
oil prices, and how we address issues like guaranteed health care.

While a key part of Republican ideology is to support rich “Corporate
America,” Democrats are supposed to be the party of working people.

Alexandria has been very clear: ending corporate influence in our politics
is necessary to support working people and bring more people into our
party. From challenging big parma to big tech, fossil fuel executives, and
beyond – Alexandria has never shied away from speaking truth to power.

But our campaign finance system is designed to disadvantage campaigns like
ours who refuse corporate PAC money. So, Alexandria and our team rely on
grassroots donations to fight back against corporate-funded attacks.

Alexandria in Congress where she can take on corporate power and push our
party forward?

[ [link removed] ]Contribute $6

This fundamental reality is clear for all: Our system is not working for
working people.

Big Oil has already made over $100 billion gouging consumers at the
pump.^1 They plan to use that money to help elect Republicans who will
undermine Biden’s clean energy agenda and keep us addicted to fossil
fuels.^2

Prices are going up, and much of that has to do with the consolidation of
market power and the fact that the most basic goods – housing, food, etc.
– are concentrated into corporate oligopolies. Huge corporations are price
gouging just because they can.

[ [link removed] ]That is not economic justice. But we can fight to keep leaders like
Alexandria in Congress who will lead the charge for an economy that works
for all and bring other progressive leaders with her. Can you donate
$6 to help us do that in 2023?

In solidarity,

Team AOC
