Make no mistake, folks: this election in 13 days will determine the future of our rights here in North Carolina.

North Carolina Republicans are doing all they can to win a super-majority in the State Legislature so they can carry out their radical agenda – and they only need to win a handful of seats to do it. If they succeed, they will be able to override Governor Cooper’s vetoes on anti-choice, anti-LGBTQ, and anti-democracy legislation.

We must elect North Carolina Democrats up and down the ballot. There will be nothing stopping Republicans if we lose. The need for federal protections has never been more important, which is why WNC must elect a Democratic representative who will pass federal legislation to protect our basic freedoms.
