SIGN THE PETITION: Massachusetts deserves an answer from Attorney General Maura Healey The same attorney who worked under Healey tried to censor individuals asking questions about allegations involving his former boss, the Democratic nominee for governor. Voters are entitled to know why. Last week Boston FRU shared a video (which you can watch below) produced by an unidentified source urging Healey to address questions about alleged relationships between herself and several female Massachusetts State Police Troopers. As the top law enforcement official in the commonwealth, MSP troopers frequently work under her command. Moments after our press release highlighting the video went out, an attorney representing the State Police Association of Massachusetts issued a cease-and-desist demand to Boston FRU, citing the "broadcast (of) a campaign video attacking gubernatorial candidate and Attorney General Maura Healey." Records show that the same attorney who authored the demand spent over a decade working in the AG's office, and served about five years directly under Healey's command. We believe voters deserve answers, not only to questions regarding the allegations, but also to questions about efforts to silence and intimidate anyone seeking to draw attention to the matter. Sign the petition We urge anyone even remotely concerned to sign onto our letter demanding action.
