I am so grateful to have President Obama’s support in this race.

[Quote from President Obama: Cheri works hard. She's honest. And most importantly she always puts people first ... This is going to be a close race and we can't afford to get it wrong.]

His endorsement speaks to the stakes of this moment and why we need strong leadership in the Senate to solve the challenges we face.

This is a fight for a brighter future where each and every person in our country has the opportunity to thrive, and he’s right that this is going to be a close race. It could come down to a small handful of votes — just like when 401 votes decided my race for Chief Justice out of more than 5 million.

I can feel our message resonating with folks as I travel all around our state in these final days, but I need your help to make sure we can connect with as many voters as possible.

Will you please stand with President Obama and me today by making a donation to help us flip North Carolina’s U.S. Senate seat? Time is running out, and we are counting on you.

The enthusiasm and outpouring of support for our campaign right now mean the world to me. If we keep working hard, I know we will win this race together.
