Transitions don’t always have a great reputation; change can be difficult, but it also holds promise of futures yet to unfold. As co-chair of Power Shift Network’s board of directors, it’s been incredible to watch our staff take on revisioning our organizational structure and building an organization grounded in community care and abundance. We’ve built out our staff to include a budding comms and fundraising teams, convergence planning fellows, and have thought long and hard about how to meet the collective needs of our Network. As we get ready for PS23, we’re excited to announce our not-so-new staff, but newly minted Co-Executive Directors, Sarin Glenn and Eriqah Vincent!
Both Sarin and Eriqah have been engaged with PSN for a while.
Sarin Glenn first came to PSN in 2019 as an HBCU and Community College Organizer, then worked to develop our political education programming as the Trainings and Political Education Coordinator, and now they will be transitioning into the role of Co-ED responsible for Communications & Culture.
Eriqah Vincent has been part of the PSN family since attending a Power Shift Convergence as a student in 2009 before later becoming a member rep, Convergence steering committee member in 2013, and eventually a staff member in 2020 as the Network Engagement Director. Now Eriqah is transitioning into the role of Co-ED responsible for Network Engagement and Convergence Oversight.
We’ll be launching the hiring process for our third co-executive director very soon and invite you to stay tuned to our blog next week to learn more about this new co-ed decision and PSN's organizational restructure. In the meantime, please join the entire PSN Board and staff in celebrating Sarin and Eriqah's new roles!! And a huge appreciation to Dany Sigwalt, our transitioning Executive Director, who has spent almost 7 years here and has shifted PSN to what it is today. Her legacy has made way for this new staff model and we honor her contribution to shifting the culture of PSN’s work to date.
Until Liberation is Ours,
Michél Legendre, Board Chair at Power Shift Network
